These are the values of Battaglin Cicli, the company founded and run by legendary cyclist Giovanni Battaglin. After winning the 64th Giro d'Italia, he decided that the passion for riding fast and the expertise in the field as a pro racer could evolve into making his own racing bikes.

Here are the milestones that have shaped Battaglin Cicli's history as a company with a unique heritage in working with top athletes:

1981
Right after winning the Giro, Giovanni Battaglin starts Battaglin Cicli, his eponymous company manufacturing high-end road bikes.
 
1985
Design and production of the first carbon monocoque frame, the Pirana (the first-ever carbon monocoque frame in the world specifically made for a time-trial).

1986-1992
The company partners with the Carrera-Vagabond professional team as the official bike supplier. In 1986, Roberto Visentini wins the Giro d'Italia, and in 1987 Stephen Roche achieves the Triple Crown (Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and the World Championships).

1994
The company partners with the Brescialat-Refin professional team as the official bike supplier.
 
1995-1997
The company launches the first aluminium frames and partners with the Refin-Mobilvetta professional team, achieving several wins at the Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia and the Tour of Switzerland.

1998
The story of the Full-Dynamix brand begins, represented on the trail by a namesake professional Team.

2000
The Full-Dynamix Team rider Miguel Martinez wins everything: Olympic Gold Medal, World Championships, World Cup, and countless podium finishes.

2001-2004
Battaglin partners with the Ceramiche Panaria Fiordo professional team.

2002

he company starts producing carbon bicycles.

2005
The C12 carbon model inaugurates a new successful era for Battaglin Cicli.

2006
Battaglin Cicli starts collaborating closely with Universities and research laboratories to pioneer new materials, new testing methodologies and new production processes. 

2009
Increase of international sales and distribution channels.

2014
The company launches Officina Battaglin, a brand focused on steel bike frames handmade in Italy.
